Another National Convenience Week in the books and what an incredible one it’s been! National Convenience Week is an annual week-long event hosted by the CICC from August 29th to September 2nd . During the action-packed week, we recognize and celebrate the convenience industry and our essential employees while raising funds for Make-A-Wish Canada. The important charity grants life-changing wishes for Canadian children with critical illnesses and we could not be prouder to support the cause.
In anticipation for the big week, our stores got ready with balloons, banners, wish stars for donations, and more! Check out the eye-catching decor at our Chesterville location:
Throughout the week, multiple community leaders visited our stores to discuss the importance of the convenience industry and show their appreciation to our amazing front line employees.
To kick off the week, the Honourable Vic Fedeli, MPP (Nipissing), visited our North Bay location. It was a pleasure to have him visit our store!
We then welcomed the Honourable Steve Clark, MPP (Leeds, Grenville, Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes), to our Merrickville store. Thank you for your support and the great conversations, Steve.
The Honourable Michael Barrett, MP (Leeds, Grenville, Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes), then visited our Kemptville location. Thanks to Michael for the visit and for purchasing a star to help grant wishes for Make-A-Wish Canada!
We’d also like to give a very special thank you to our customers who have purchased wish stars throughout the week in support of Make-A-Wish Canada. The donations will go towards granting life-changing wishes for Canadian children.
To all convenience store employees, thank you for your hard work and dedication to support our local communities day in and day out. We appreciate everything you do.
The week was a great success with significant funds being raised for Make-A-Wish Canada and lots of fun had in stores. We already can’t wait for National Convenience Week 2023!
